JULIE WATERS

Co-Founder, CEO

Julie Waters is the co-founder and CEO of Watermark Media. Prior to launching Watermark Media, Waters previously served as the Head of Scrap Paper Pictures, founded by actress Rachel Brosnahan, overseeing a slate of indie film projects and television through the company's first-look TV deal at Amazon. Prior to that, Waters was a Vice President at Temple Hill Entertainment, where she produced the hit FX series DAVE, and developed the series LOVE, VICTOR and THE OTHER BLACK GIRL for Hulu. Waters is the founder of QWEER, a networking and advocacy group bringing together queer women in the entertainment industry.


EVAN DYAL

Co-Founder

Evan Dyal is the co-founder of Watermark Media. Dyal is an Executive Producer on Watermark Media’s upcoming films OH, HI, directed by Sophie Brooks and starring Molly Gordon, Logan Lerman, Geraldine Viswanathan and John Reynolds and MAD BILLS TO PAY, directed by Joel Alfonso Vargas’ and starring Juan Collado, Destiny Checo and Yohanna Florentino. He is passionate about supporting authentic voices and fostering new talent in order to bring genuine content to all. Dyal received his B.A. from Drexel University in Philadelphia and currently resides in New York City.




AARON MILLBERG

COO & Partner

Aaron Millberg is the COO and Partner at Watermark Media, overseeing business development and operations. Millberg brings with him over 10 years of experience at the intersection of entertainment and technology. Prior to joining Watermark, he was the Head of Creator and Content Commerce at Canal, a cutting-edge e-commerce startup where he built the creator economy and entertainment business from the ground up. Previously, he spent eight years at United Talent Agency, as a talent agent in the Endorsements division, securing multi-million dollar brand deals for the agency's many clients. Millberg was featured on the 2022 Forbes “30 Under 30” List for Hollywood & Entertainment.




LEXI KROLL

Director of Development

Lexi Kroll joined Watermark Media as the Director of Development in 2024. She is passionate about discovering and uplifting emerging voices in the film industry, specifically in the queer community. Kroll has been working in film & TV development since 2018, starting her career at Brillstein Entertainment in the Literary Department. Prior to Watermark she also worked at director Jonathan Levine’s production company, Megamix and Rachel Brosnahan’s Scrap Paper Pictures. Kroll is a Toronto native and attended Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Public Communications.
